If you haven’t yet tied a supply of Tasty Toads and Puglisi-style tarpon flies, you better hop to it because tarpon season is beginning to crank up. Break out the big sticks — the 10-, 11- and 12-weight rods, dust off the heavy-duty reels, lubricate the drags, stretch the lines and replace leader butt sections because it’s that time of year again.
